Iyengar Yoga Workshop \u2013 Level 1<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Who is it for?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

For complete beginners as well as those who wish to deepen their practice of the foundational asanas.<\/span>
Level 1<\/strong> is open to everyone \u2013 no previous experience required<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll focus on the themes of mobility and stability<\/strong>, deepen your knowledge both practically and theoretically, and dive into a rich practice that brings greater understanding of the body and yoga.<\/span><\/p>\n

What will you learn?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Basic poses<\/strong>: standing (Tadasana, Vrksasana), seated poses, forward bends, and foundational inverted poses such as Sarvangasana<\/strong> (shoulderstand)<\/span><\/p>\n

Strong emphasis on precise body alignment<\/strong>, muscle activation<\/strong>, and functional movement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Awareness in action<\/strong> \u2013 cultivating mindful movement<\/span><\/p>\n

Introduction to yogic terminology<\/strong>, key Sanskrit<\/strong> terms, and yoga philosophy<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is it for?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

For those who already have some basic experience and want to refine their practice and grow further<\/strong>.<\/span>
But don\u2019t hesitate to join even if you\u2019re still quite new \u2013 there is always room for growth.<\/span>

What will you learn?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Refining and deepening<\/strong> foundational asanas (standing, seated, backbends, twists, forward bends) with greater stability and endurance<\/strong> \u2013 e.g., Sarvangasana<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Introduction of more advanced variations<\/strong>, including Sirsasana<\/strong> (headstand)<\/span><\/p>\n

Continuing work on body awareness<\/strong>, precision<\/strong>, and the subtlety of movement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Entry into Pranayama<\/strong> (breathwork) and a deeper dive into Sanskrit<\/strong> and yoga philosophy<\/span><\/p>\n
