Helena Kubrychtová - Iyengar Yoga-Sound Healing-Spiritual Coaching-Breath work-Access Consciousness

Over 20 years of studying Iyengar Yoga in the USA, Holland, UK and last but not least at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India, has given me a deep knowledge of the system developed by Guruji B.K. S IYENGAR.

The experience and knowledge I gained abroad under the guidance of my senior teachers gave me the opportunity to transform myself on a body and soul level and most importantly to be there for others, my students, with whom I have walked the path and shared light and shadow for decades.

By founding the Iyengar Yoga Institute Prague (2013) and mentoring future teachers, I contributed to the creation of a part of the Iyengar yoga community in the Czech Republic.
In the past year, I have happily placed the Iyengar Yoga Institute in the hands of another owner and I am just a part of it as part of his teacher base.

All of my learning still takes place fully on its soil, and I look forward to sharing what I have learned and continue to gain from my teachers. There are several opportunities.

Regular group asana practice (Level 1,2,3)

in the studio and in the online interface The group public lessons are suitable for all students without medical restrictions.
They vary in duration (60, 90, 75,120 minutes).
They are marked with a level of progression that indicates the level of physical challenge and depth of information the student will receive from the teacher.
Therefore, this designation must be respected when choosing the appropriate lesson.

Pranayama (breathing exercises) and chanting (recitation) beejamanter

Working with breath and sound is part of the harmonization process of the body’s energy system.
Together with the practice of asana, concentration, meditation and moral principles (yama/niyama) it forms a holistic approach to the body, psyche and soul.

Therapeutic classes (yoga therapy)

If you have a specific health limitation, if you are shortly after an operation, after an accident, if you have psychological problems or chronic health problems, these lessons are designed just for you.
At the beginning of the lesson, the student fills out a health form and briefly discusses their health condition with the instructor.

During the lesson the student practices individually under the supervision of the SENIOR teacher and his assistants.
Smaller groups of practitioners, a gradual pace, reasonable physical intensity and, with regular practice, noticeable progress are guaranteed.

In addition to treating musculoskeletal disorders, these classes also address some chronic systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disorders (heart disorders, relief of angina pain, hypertension, lower extremity circulatory disorders), disorders of the digestive system (constipation, hyperacidity, bloating, hiatal hernia), endocrinological disorders (diabetes, thyroid disorders), respiratory disorders (asthma, bronchitis and sinusitis) and certain neurological disorders (headache and migraine, multiple sclerosis).

Private and semi-private lessons

Do you want to have an individual approach (1:1) and work on yourself in full focus?
Do you have special requirements or health problems?
Do you perceive an imbalance in your body at the level of the skeletal-muscular system or organic body?
Are you in recovery or want to address your health ailments in an alternative way?
Or do you just want to share a customized asana practice with family or friends?

In private lessons all of the above is possible.

Mentoring programme (teacher training)

The intensive course over ten weekends of the year is an exceptional opportunity to set a new goal, shift your own practice and take the next step on your yoga journey.

A year-long program of yoga study and practice to inspire students to develop a deep understanding and deepening of their own asana and pranayama practice, and an appreciation of Iyengar yoga as both an art and a science.
From a solid foundation of practice, yoga allows us to live a fuller life, build healthy relationships, and give something of ourselves back to the world.

Suitable for those who want to become teachers and lecturers of the Iyengar yoga system in the future.

This course is suitable for you if you are preparing to take the Iyengar Yoga exam, have the basics of Iyengar Yoga and want to share what you have learned, are ready to work with a mentor for up to 3 years, want to work with a mentor individually or in small groups, attend classes, assist and eventually start teaching yoga yourself.
